INTRODUCTION
		f you are looking for professional help with the creation, alteration or improvement of your garden then you will obviously want to know how a particular designer works before deciding to use him or her. Designers do have differing ideas and values and it would be a dull world if we were all the same.
	......I have been a keen gardener for the past 40 years, but I only started creating gardens for other people, on a professional basis, in 1997. So my design beliefs are largely derived from my love of gardens and plants, and my own long, hands-on experience of discovering what does, and does not, work.
	......This website explains my design approach and shows how it translates into practice, giving examples of some gardens I have created - large and small, in the UK and abroad.
